When should I use a thermal oxidizer vs. GAC?
Thermal oxidizers are preferred for high-concentration streams where GAC change-out frequency would be prohibitively expensive, or when permit conditions require destruction rather than capture.
What fuel sources can be used?
Systems can operate on natural gas or propane. Some sites use supplemental fuel from SVE off-gas when contaminant concentrations are high enough.
How is acid gas handled for chlorinated solvents?
We integrate caustic scrubbers downstream of the oxidizer to neutralize hydrochloric acid (HCl) produced by chlorinated compound destruction.
Is rental available for thermal systems?
Yes. Rental thermal oxidizers and catalytic oxidizers are available for pilot studies, interim measures, and short-term projects.
